About the CZ 75 D PCR COMPACT
The PCR (Police Czech Republic) distinguishes itself with an alloy frame, decocking-only lever, and no manual safety, shedding weight while maintaining the CZ 75's reliability. Its shorter barrel and slimmer profile make it more concealable than full-size models.
This variant handles like a compact duty pistol, with the 75 series' natural pointability and a 14-round capacity in 9mm. The decocker allows safe hammer lowering without manipulating the trigger, preferred by many for carry.
CZ 75 questions
What is the difference between the CZ 75 B and 75 BD?
The B has a manual safety and can be carried cocked and locked. The BD replaces the safety with a decocker, so it is carried hammer-down and fired double-action first.
Is the CZ 75 SP-01 a duty pistol?
It was designed as one: a railed, full-size steel frame and high capacity. It is heavy for carry but very easy to shoot well.
Is the CZ 75 still made?
Yes. The 75 family is still in current production in several versions.
