About the CZ 75 BD
The BD designation means this model replaces the manual safety with a decocking lever, allowing the hammer to be safely lowered without manually manipulating it. This variant shares the same steel frame, ergonomic grip, and proven 75 Series design as others in the line.
The DA/SA trigger provides a long first pull followed by shorter, crisper single-action shots. The decocker makes it practical for duty or defensive use where a safe, ready condition is required. Like all CZ 75s, it maintains excellent balance and natural pointability for range or competition shooting.

What is the difference between the CZ 75 B and 75 BD?
The B has a manual safety and can be carried cocked and locked. The BD replaces the safety with a decocker, so it is carried hammer-down and fired double-action first.
Is the CZ 75 SP-01 a duty pistol?
It was designed as one: a railed, full-size steel frame and high capacity. It is heavy for carry but very easy to shoot well.
