About the CZ-USA CZ 75 SP-01 Competition
The SP-01 Competition stands out in the CZ 75 lineup with its extended beavertail, checkered aluminum grips, and competition hammer for faster lock time. It retains the SP-01's full-length dust cover and accessory rail but omits the firing pin block for a crisper trigger pull.
Built for action pistol sports, its weight-forward balance reduces muzzle flip while the extended magazine release and oversized ambidextrous safety enable rapid manipulation during stages. The lack of a firing pin block makes it competition-only, not recommended for defensive use.

What is the difference between the CZ 75 B and 75 BD?
The B has a manual safety and can be carried cocked and locked. The BD replaces the safety with a decocker, so it is carried hammer-down and fired double-action first.
Is the CZ 75 SP-01 a duty pistol?
