About the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Target
The Shadow Target builds on the SP-01's full-size frame and rail, with a target-ready combination of an extended beavertail, thin aluminum grips, and a hand-fitted barrel bushing for tighter lockup. Its 4.75-inch barrel and lighter recoil spring are tuned for 9mm competition loads, while the upswept beavertail and undercut trigger guard improve high-grip purchase.
This variant comes with CZ Custom's competition hammer, reducing trigger pull weight and lock time. The lack of a firing pin block simplifies the action, and the extended mag release works with both CZ 75 and SP-01 magazines. It's built for USPSA Production or IDPA ESP division shooters who prefer a steel-framed pistol.

What is the difference between the CZ 75 B and 75 BD?
The B has a manual safety and can be carried cocked and locked. The BD replaces the safety with a decocker, so it is carried hammer-down and fired double-action first.
Is the CZ 75 SP-01 a duty pistol?
It was designed as one: a railed, full-size steel frame and high capacity. It is heavy for carry but very easy to shoot well.
